Deccan Odyssey is a joint venture of Indian Railways and Maharashtra Tourism. On Board services of Deccan Odyssey is managed by staff of internationally renowned Taj Group of Hotels.
Deccan Odyssey train operates annually from October to April on 7 nights tour which includes various exotic destinations like Goa, Mumbai, Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora.
There is 21-coach in Deccan Odyssey train with 13 saloons which provides the 5-star facilities. Each saloon can accommodate 96 passengers; have two restaurants, a bar, conference room, health spa, staff accommodation and two generator cars. Each passenger saloon comprises of four compartments and will accommodate two which makes a total of eight to a carriage.
Deccan Odyssey can also provides on Board facilities which include channel music, intercom, CD/ MP3 player, money exchange/ credit cards facility, safety & security arrangements, conference equipment, ticket booking / cancellation facilities etc.
